equipment loaner update

Initial Response

I was incredibly encouraged to see the overwhelming response to the equipment loaner program. It was great to see so many of you show up on Saturday and Sunday to pick up items to aid in your home workouts. Many of you have been sharing positive messages, encouraging your fellow members, and getting creative with your own workouts. I think we can all agree that this has also served as a reminder of how much we love our little box and the amazing community we have built.

We still do not have a solid idea of what the timeline for a resolution to this quarantine will be, but myself and the other coaches will continue to do things to keep you all engaged and prepare ourselves for the eventual return to normal life. I have to thank all of you for your continued support and for helping NPCF be such an amazing place.

next pickup time

Many of you have reached out when the next time to pick up equipment might be. I will be at the gym tomorrow working on some projects from 11 am - 1 pm. If you would like to come by during that time to grab items, I can take care of you then. Please fill out the tracking sheet which you can get here, or via the link in our Instagram profile before you arrive.

We have already checked out many of the Barbells, dumbbells, and Kettlebells over the past few days. If the items in the package you signed up to check out are not available, I will work with you on finding suitable alternatives and we will do the best we can. The most important thing is that you have some items to help ad some variety to body weight movements and to help avoid getting bored from repetition of the same 3-4 movements.

Next Steps

If any of you have requests or ideas for anything you think would be helpful to the community, please email, text or call me. You could also post ideas in the Facebook group and we could get some conversation going there as well.

If this pandemic looks like it is going to continue into the next few weeks, I will look at expanding the types of things we can do stay active and continue to work on aspects of our fitness and mobility. I would like to post some instructional videos, mobility and warmup information, and possibly share some food and nutrition ideas. Let's hope that this ends in the next few weeks as apposed to months and that we can all come out of it healthy, and financially intact.
